Adaptiv: The Levels Concept

Put simply, Adaptiv is a system that divides fitness activities into four levels so everyone can get the most out of their workout.

Each level has it’s own icon and colour so it’s easy to see what
level an activity or class is.

This page provides a short intro to the levels.

basic level 1

Basic level classes serve as an introduction to the level system. Plenty of information is given by the instructor and classes are suitable for those with a low fitness threshold or needing an easy going workout for restitution.

active level 2

Active level takes the training experience one step further in intensity. The main focus is still on information delivery and the teaching method concentrates on constantly motivating the participants throughout the class.

sport level 3

Sport level is where the class becomes a high intensity level training session in which less information and more motivation is delivered. The class becomes a challenge for participants and the instructor’s approach to teaching is like that of a coach.

extreme level 3

Extreme level is a demanding class that invites participants to push themselves and step outside their comfort zone. Very little information is exchanged and the tone of the class is entirely coaching focused.
